During Pride Month, SAY GAY PLAYS collaborators came together to host a live roundtable discussion about the SGP catalog as a tool for change in your community.

Moderated by Amelia Parenteau, this discussion describes the origin of SAY GAY PLAYS from harmful legislation targeting the LGBTQ+ community. As a response to harmful narratives SGP hopes organizations, schools, and community groups use these stories as form of theater activism. Bringing in artists from the kickoff event, hear different panelists speak about their experience working with the first iteration of SAY GAY PLAYS. Additionally they discuss how to utilize this website to find out more information on the project and give a walk through of the application process. Finally, the discussion ends with an open forum to answer questions from both our moderator and the audience.
