SAY GAY PLAYS AT THE DANE THEATER

On January 19, 2025, on the eve of the inauguration, The Dane Theater presented SAY GAY PLAYS in Birmingham, AL. The reading acted as a fundraiser for their theater company and St Andrew’s Episcopal Church . Tickets were sold with suggested donation of $20.

On the night, 6 out of 10 original plays were chosen and performed to an audience of just under 100 people. We were thrilled to learn that they were able to raise $1400. The performance took place at St Andrew’s Episcopal Church.

Local State Rep Neil Rafferty showed his support for the event by performing Doug Wright’s piece “An Address to the Florida Legislature”
